The IQxstream Advanced Cellular RF Test System is a scalable, flexible test solution for multi-technology mobile products delivering the lowest test cost.
Purpose-designed hardware with software-defined functionality means buying just what you need now, with the flexibility to upgrade, later, without taking the instrument out of service.
Your requirements dictate IQxstream hardware options for single-DUT testing, multi-DUT testing or MIMO configurations. Optional software configurations are simply UMTS, CDMA2000 and LTE measurement suites.
The IQxstream implements non-signaling testing methodology for lowest test cost. Furthermore, the IQxstream enables advanced testing strategies that go beyond serial-test program flow to include sequential-test and parallel-test execution.
With this capability, up to 4 DUTs can be tested in parallel, in the same time it takes to test one DUT if operating serially.
Supporting Latest Technologies
IQxstream Advanced Cellular RF Test System supports transmitter and receiver measurements of GSM, EDGE, WCDMA, HSPA, HSPA+, CDMA2000 1xRTT, CDMA2000 1xEV-DO and LTE FDD cellular technologies – all with a single instrument. The test system includes a General Purpose RF Tool Box adding signal generator, signal analyzer and power meter test resources for development and debug work.
The IQxstream Advanced Cellular RF Test System covers a frequency range of 400 MHz to 3000 MHz. RF generator and analyzer bandwidths are both 100 MHz enabling wide signal capture and analysis, ensuring hardware compatibility with future standards.
RF generator, analyzer and RF switch matrix resources feed four bi-directional and one uni-directional RF ports for greatest DUT- connection flexibility. IQxstream supports MIMO architectures using an optional second VSG with its included switch matrix and RF ports. This unique test instrument achieves maximum performance by using signal processors capable of independently servicing up to four DUTs in a test sequence.
Total Test Solution
With the addition of a LitePoint IQ2010 Connectivity Test System, the IQxstream Advanced Cellular RF Test System is a total cellular/connectivity, multi-DUT capable test station for today’s complex smart phones, tablets, and more.
You can develop in-house test programs using the IQxstream’s native SCPI commands. The IQxstream’s software environment features powerful tools to simplify test program development. Up to 10 virtual instrument channels allow for independent configuration and execution of up to 10 separate measurements or operations within the instrument.
An advanced parallel software architecture allows multiple channels to operate in parallel without requiring any special user instruction. IQxstream removes the complexity of developing high throughput manufacturing test programs with the least possible development time.

IQxstream Advanced Cellular RF Test System produces precise measurements with lowest operating costs. The calibration interval of the instrument is 24 months. In the unlikely event of a problem, the instrument’s core board assembly can be easily replaced, on-site. The instrument carries a three year hardware warranty.
