Apple unveils tablet, dubbed iPad

As expected, Apple unveiled its new tablet device, dubbed the iPad. According to the various live blogs tracking the unveiling in real time, the device looks like a larger-screen iPhone and features a Web browser, Google Maps and access to Apple's iTunes.
