Sprint offers prepaid mobile broadband service for wholesalers

Sprint Nextel is giving a boost to its wholesale partners. The carrier, in conjunction with network service solutions provider Telespree Communications, is launching an on-demand mobile data offering for Sprint's wholesale customers. The service, officially called Mobile Broadband on Demand, will be offered both as a standalone product or packaged with back-office services, and will be targeted at MVNOs and other enterprises that want to use mobile broadband more sparingly, such as rental car companies, airport kiosks, hotels and retail stores.
